Delia Bazzigher is a social anthropologist and currently deepens her interest in political systems of different societies with secondary master studies in political science and international relations.
In her studies, she focuses on the interface between political participation and the digital sphere, especially in political communication on social media. For the social scientist, communication and access to diverse information are central components of democracy.
Since June 2025 she heads the office of the Swiss Democracy Foundation in Bern and acts as the foundation's director since 2026.

Qendresa Mejzini grew up in Kosovo and experienced first-hand the challenges of a war-torn region. She witnessed the devastating effects of conflict in her country, but also saw the courage of the people rebuilding their lives and democracy.
These experiences shaped her and prepared her for her professional development. Qendresa holds a degree in law from the University of Pristina and a Master of Arts in Applied Human Rights from the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
Since July 2025, she has been working for the Swiss Democracy Foundation as European Fundraising Manager.
